Psalm 119: 17-32 - Faithfulness in a Fallen World - Jesmond Parish Church, Newcastle Sermon
19 July '20 Ian Garrett - Those who follow Jesus and are committed to God are aliens, or sojourners, in this fallen world: they don't belong here and they don't share the world's values. And often that's not just a behind-the-scenes fact: we can feel it quite strongly. In this part of Psalm 119 the writer takes us through the reality of being a sojourner in this world, and how to stay faithful to God while dealing with the outward conflict and the inward cost that comes with being a sojourner.
