Training for Children's Ministry Course-13: Teaching New Testament Letters

New Testament letters are not common teaching ground for children; they can be dense and lack the story element that brings narratives and parables alive. However to neglect the letters is to forgo great spiritual nourishment for your groups. In this video Andy Gawn helps leaders teach them: it's just like going on holiday, you need to:

1. Check out the location: consider the context and original message

2. See the highlights: look for key verses and use them to get a feel for the whole argument

3. Learn some vocab: understand key biblical words like ‘redemption’ and ‘justification’

Length: 9mins
