Matthew 6: 16-18 - Fasting: What, Why, When, How? - Jesmond Parish, Newcastle Sermon

4 August '19 Ramzi Adcock - Fasting is not something we talk about much in our cultural Christian context, but Jesus assumes his disciples are fasting alongside prayer and giving. So how should we go about fasting? How often should we be doing it? And what is the point? Ramzi Adcock helpful answers these questions to encourage believers to make the most of this wonderful gift, given by God to strengthen our faith. Food can be a sensitive area for some Christians and in some cases fasting may not be appropriate. If this is an area of struggle for you please do talk to a mature Christian about it.
