Ask Phillip - Making Fun of Other Religions?
Is it wrong to make fun of other people's religions? Phillip Jensen says that Christians are to love their neighbours as themselves and so not to make fun of anyone about anything. But he also highlights how mockery is used in the Bible to expose the foolishness of the worship of inanimate idols or the hypocrisy, Jensen says that at times, this is necessary to wake people from their stupor.
