28 Jul 2019 William Taylor - Paul’s concern for Corinth is that they do not lose heart in authentic gospel ministry. But authentic ministry looks weak and is a struggle, so what will keep them, and us, enduring? Paul says - look to things unseen and eternal; our weak 'tent-like' bodies will be replaced with an eternal house built by God. Paul says - look to the time where your groaning and burdens will be over and you will be renewed internally day by day. This, says Paul, is what it looks and feels like to have the Spirit.
