This second letter from Peter is written to the same group of churchs in Asia Minor. Peter has become aware that he is going to die soon and so this letter acts as his farewell speech. He issues a final challenge to be people who never stop growing and he warns of the false teachers who are leading many believers astray by their corrupt way of living and their distorted theology.
