Often when we hear the word 'multi-site' we think American mega churches which sound more like mercenary organisations than a loving caring Jesus honouring community.

But there are a number of churches in Australia quietly rolling out multi site ministry models, within traditional denominations (Think Creek Road in Brisbane, MBM Rooty Hill in Sydney, Church by the Bridge in Sydney and of course City on a Hill in Melbourne, Geelong and Brisbane.

There’s the start of a trend for larger evangelical churches to switch strategies from planting daughter churches to becoming a multisite network of a man campus and a series of campuses.

Wade Burnett is a church planter and consultant from the USA, who is in Australia to speak at a series of conferences for Geneva Push on Multisite 

Wade has planted churches, pastored churches, merged churches and launched multisite campuses both in rural Louisiana and in suburban Nashville. As an Associate of MultiSite Solutions, Wade has done extensive work coaching and consulting church leaders in multisite, church mergers, pastoral succession, and church multiplication.

Wade joins Dominic Steele along with MBM Rooty Hill Senior Pastor Ray Galea to talk about how multisite can help as a potential strategy within the church planting movement.
