The stories of the lost sheep, the deaf and dumb man and the widow’s mite are told. Two lion cubs escaping from the dockside are befriended by four year old Marcus. On route to the Circus Maximus to join their mother, who along with other lions is being prepared to eat Christians in Nero’s games, they lead Ben and Marcus to the dreaded Circus Maximus where assisted by a Christian circus owner and a Christian sea captain they rescue both the mother lion and a group of her intended victims.
