An aging teller, a friend of Ben from Israel, comes to tell the children the story of the Good Samaritan. Later, chased by two centurions, Tacticus and the evil Nihilus, two of the children hear a cry for help and discover Tacticus down a hole deserted by his colleagues. Risking their lives and risking betraying Ben the Teller and the rest of the underground Christians, the children, remembering the story they have heard, pull the man out. The stories of the Sower and the unforgiving servant are also told in this episode.
