John Lennox teaches from John 14 where Jesus prepares his disciples on the inside for their witness outside. Jesus teaches his disciples to love him to the end, to look forward, as he does to enjoying fellowship with Father, Son and Spirit for eternity. He says that the way to this glorious future is through his death alone and not through any merit of their own. This wonderful truth is the bedrock of assurance for all followers of Christ.
