1 John 2: 7-11 - How to Recognise a True Christian - Jesmond Parish, Newcastle Sermon
2 June '19 Ian Garrett - The Christian landscape is confusing. Many claim to be Christians but deny key beliefs and behaviours. How then can we know who really follows Jesus, who's teaching to trust and indeed if we are a Christian ourselves. In addition to the 'sin test' and the 'obedience test' in 1 John 1, Ian Garrett shows that we can use the 'apostolic test' (holding to the teaching of the apostles) and the 'love like Jesus test' to discern the validity of someone's, our our own, claim to be a Christian.
