The Human Journey: Mental Health

Am I supposed to feel like this? We now know much more about mental health than at any time before, and there have been huge advances in the treatments available. In many cases specialist help is needed, something non-professionals simply cannot provide. Prayer, a godly lifestyle, and a loving supportive Christian community can be a wonderful help to people who are living with and overcoming mental illness, but they are very seldom the whole answer.

Length: 28mins

The Human Journey is a new 8 unit course designed by the Christian Medical Fellowship to help you think biblically about these and other matters of health and wellbeing. Each unit consists of 15 mins of video talks by Peter Saunders as well as a set of studies found in it's accompanying study guide and book all available on our website. Guiding you through The Human Journey course, the study guide includes icebreakers, discussion questions, prayer points and suggestions for practical responses. If you're part of a church, a healthcare professional, or a student and want to think biblically about health, The Human Journey is for you. This course can be run by churches over 8 weeks or as an intensive 2 day workshop. Alternatively it can be done by individuals at home. For more info see
